The cabinet division is as old as Pakistan itself and has numerous functions that include the construction of the constitution of the Economic Council and appointment of its members, appointing and deciding the salary allowances of governors, budgeting for the Cabinet and Supreme Judicial Council, Communications Security, Preserving state documents, helping in disasters, giving civil awards and Gallantry awards, creating annual report on principles of policy, handling the matters raised due to expatriation of Bengali’s from Pakistan, Defense of Pakistan rules and ordinance, selection of scholars, naming and working with different educational institutes of Pakistan etc.
Cabinet division is looking for well educated, competent and skilled applicants for their project titled “Improvement of Record Preservation, Archives Management Infrastructure and Research Documentation”. Following are the posts that need to be filled: stenographer, assistant, clerk and naib qasid with minimum qualification of Master/Bachelors/intermediate in Computer Science with experience in relevant field.
The organization has been working from a long time. The departments attached to it are the Department of Archives, Department of Communication Security, and Department of Stationary and Forms.
The services performed by the organization include the following parameters:
- Cabinet Committee of Privatization (CCOP),
- ECNEC), and NEC
- Composition of Cabinet Committee on Restructuring (CCOR),
- Economic Coordination Committee (ECC),
- Appointing of the Federal cabinet, Prime minister, Governor-general, and Presidents of Pakistan since 1947.
