Livestock and dairy development is an essential component of any country and to survive a country needs its livestock. The livestock of Peshawar (KPK) consists of cows, buffaloes, camels, chickens, horses, sheep etc.
Livestock are also used for other purposes like their skin is used for clothing, fertilizers, and fuel.
The livestock of a country determines its economic growth and development. Livestock is an important food source. It provides calories, proteins, and fats to the human nature. Livestock is also a source of income for poor to rich industrial areas of the world.
On a small scale, income is earned from the livestock by selling eggs milk and manure. On the other hand, on an industrial scale, we can earn by selling wool fertilizers or animals by their breeding. Many people in Pakistan earn from livestock because more than 70% of the population is middle class.
In many countries, cow dung is highly valued as fuel for cooking and heating, reducing expenditures for fuel wood or fossil fuels. Biogas production is an excellent substitute for fossil fuel or fuel wood for farmers in tropical countries
Livestock and dairy development of KPK is looking for the above mentioned posts candidates who interests in working and maintaining Pakistan livestock at its best and increasing the economic sustainability of Pakistan.
We all use dairy products at our home daily or almost every two days. In some houses, people have kept cows and buffaloes from which they earn their living and make yogurt and cheese even. It is not bad to keep livestock at home but they need special care because already some animals have become extinct from our country and some even from the world.
Using harmful medications (injections) and earning by false means is not a HALAL way to earn and it is also dangerous for the animal’s and people’s health. Dairy and livestock keep a check on these matters. They deliver meat, eggs, and milk is processed in healthy ways to the people.
The selection procedure consists of an Application process (complete online application form), a Test, and an Interview. Selected candidates will go through training.
Note * It is a semi-governmental department so they get all benefits like pension, medical allowance, etc.
