Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority are answerable for the rise of technical based instruction and training programs in Punjab by presenting new projects and giving a number of job opportunities to applicants according to their skills and expertise. Teachers (civil draftsman, electrician, cooking) are the available posts in TEVTA that need to be filled by caliber, educated and dynamic individuals with overall qualifications of MA/ BS.c / DAE from a well reputed university. Candidates must have relevant experience and expertise in their respective fields. A market competitive salary is offered with allowances.
TEVTA’s goal is to develop a well establish and dynamic technical and vocational training centers to ensure growth, to train teachers and staff with upgraded knowledge and skills, to establish good relations with other sectors like that of agriculture, industry, and commerce, involving private sector in management training’s, also provide employment to graduates and encourage entrepreneurship, study and upgrade the existing training’s, offer solution regarding product problems, develop need based short courses in area of new technology, increasing coordination with public system through Boards of Management at District level.
The training offered in fields of agriculture, ceramics, leathers, mechanical, textile, and wood. The apprenticeship training was held in Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Lahore, Multan, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Faisalabad.
New initiatives were taken in the publication department, foreign placement, public private partnership, Skilled Labor Market Information System (SLMIS) and in short courses.
Selection procedure consists of an Application process (complete online application form), Test, and an Interview. Selected candidates will go through training.
